Heartland 200

Round 2

Park Rapids, MN

Heartland 200

Presented by Park Rapids Lakes Area Convention and Visitor Burea

January 24-25, 2026

Park Rapids is preparing to host the 14th Annual Heartland 200 snowmobile race on Saturday and Sunday, January 24-25, 2026. Organized by COR PowerSports, the Park Rapids Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce, and the local race committee, this event attracts top snowmobile racers from Minnesota and the Midwest to Park Rapids. We are excited to host the event again this year. The race draws many competitors who energize our community with visitors and pride — we are dedicated to racing, and we have officially committed to a three-year agreement with COR PowerSports to host premier snowmobile racing in the Park Rapids Lakes Area.

The Heartland 200 is a distinctive venue because it offers both the racer’s favorite “woods” terrain race and a lake race when snow is limited. The terrain course features wooded trails and ditches, making it highly technical and very different from any other on the snowmobile racing circuit.

The Heartland 200 snowmobile race has a rich history. Much of the race course follows trails in the woods, similar to the old Eagle's Heartland Snowmobile race, which took place in the Park Rapids area in the early 1970s and 1980s. Racers love it, as it represents cross-country racing at its best.

The Heartland 200 was awarded Venue of the Year for 2023 season and plans to come back stronger for the 2026 season.
