When you look at the history of Arctic Cat snowmobile racing, one company stands out for working closely with the Arctic Cat race department and helping Team Arctic succeed: Speedwerx.
Speedwerx has built a worldwide reputation as a leading aftermarket performance shop. For more than twenty years, they have supplied high-performance snowmobile parts and clutch systems, helping Arctic Cat racers win many championships.
Speedwerx has supported racers in top circuits such as the Cor PowerSports series. Now, we are excited to introduce the “Speedwerx Arctic Cat Privateer Award” for the 2027 race season!
Every weekend, one racer in a non-payout class will receive the “Speedwerx Arctic Cat Privateer Award.” The winner will be picked at random and get a $100 Speedwerx gift certificate.
We have partnered with several companies to recognize privateer racers who compete for the love of the sport. Each weekend, these racers show up motivated by their passion for racing.
For 16 race seasons, we at Cor PowerSports have worked with our sponsors to recognize these racers. The new “Speedwerx Arctic Cat Privateer Award” continues this tradition by honoring Team Arctic racers.
Here are this season’s awards and who is eligible to win them:
“Speedwerx Arctic Cat Privateer Award”: $100 Speedwerx gift certificate – open to all Arctic Cat racers in a non-payout class.
“C&A Pro Skis Ride Like a Pro Award”: a set of skis of your choice, mount kit, and Studboy Traction carbides – for all class winners in non-payout classes.
“Polaris Extreme Privateer Award”: a gift package from Polaris Extreme Lubricants – open to all Polaris racers in a non-payout class.
“Ride with confidence, Ride with Rox” award: a set of handguards and a mount kit from Rox Speed FX – for all Junior class racers.
We are grateful to these companies for helping us honor the riders who race each weekend, not for money, but for a trophy and their love of the sport.
