Yesterday we were onsite in Ottertail, MN checking on conditions; the area received about 3-4” of fluffy snow earlier this week but since we were there December 5 the ice conditions have greatly improved.
December 5 we had found 9-10 inches of ice in the pit areas and then about a half mile out from Pelican Bay access we found consistently 8 inches of ice. Yesterday we checked those same areas and found 16-17 inches of ice in the pit areas and half mile from the access we found a consistent 15 inches of ice.
With this the Ottertail 100 January 11-12 is a GO!!
Registration is now open on the website as well as on the Cor PowerSports app.
Course will be very similar to the layout we ran in 2023 but with less snow this year we will be able to plow it wider and improve the routing.
Local Pro race Dan Revering has been helping drum up some local sponsorships and we anticipate a Pro Factory win to be close to $10,000 total for the winner between series payout, local sponsorships, and manufacturer contingency!
We are excited to get our 2025 race season on the way and getting the Cor PowerSports family back together!
