Leech Lake 200
Alot of behind the scenes work has been involved in this event, even with the most recent course change due to snow conditions caused some hurdles for the series and Leech Lake 200 race group to work through but we are now able to share this information.
Below is the Leech Lake 200 event info along with course information and other logistics, first thing you will notice is that the course is 25 miles in length which is a first for us with a lake race but one of the unique features of the infrastructure of Leech Lake is the ice roads routed on the lake. These ice roads will give spectators numerous viewing areas of the course and bring a different feeling to what many think is just another lake race.
The race order is adjusted as well to accommodate the longer course, overall, all classes will run similar distances that typically are run at lake events.
