Lakewood's Resort 100 event info update
Posted: 12/28/2020
Report is in from Cable, WI:
12" in pit area of clear black ice, only about 1" of snow on lake, and with forecast we will continue making ice!!
We are working with our vendors for the series to equip our Jay's Power Center Polaris General with tracks and plow, we will clear the course middle of next week.
Couple event updates:
We are instituting our COVID procedures for all events: two crew members allowed in staging, post tech, & refuel area (if applicable for your class). Scoring & Tech trailers will be within this restricted area. If you have a question about results approach one of the crew members in staging or tech for them to go discuss with the scoring personnel.
Masks will be mandatory inside all buildings at events, we are guests to these towns so show them the courtesy of taking the steps to protect them.
Driver check in procedures are being discussed currently for how we will do them at all events this season.
On our website at
www.corpowersports.com/raceforms/ there is electronic event waivers; the racer and two crew personnel will need to fill out these forms prior to arrival at event.
Online registration now includes in driver information for the names of the two crew members, this way we can verify prior to driver check in waiver forms are signed.
Online registration will close at 6pm Wednesday Jan 6, we are moving it up one day for this first event so we have the extra time to verify everyone has their online forms done. NO walk up registrations will be allowed, to reduce contact points everyone has to register online and do waivers online.
When you are not racing or your rider is not racing you will need to be outside of the restricted area, we will have a staging and results board at the entrance to this area.
With each state having slightly different COVID policy and procedures we have decided it is best to institute one procedure that will be in place for all events.
