Gogebic Community College Ironwood XC Championship is next week!!

We are just one week away from the Gogebic Community College Ironwood XC Championship, scheduled for March 21-22.
This two-day event will be Round 7 and Round 8 of the 2026 Cor PowerSports Race Series. Each day will feature a full day of racing with all classes participating on both days. Each day is a separate points-paying event, with its own points, payouts, and awards. If you enter both days, you'll receive a discount on your race registration. Can't make both days? Don't worry, as there is a single-day entry option available on the website.
This event has been a favorite among racers and fans over the past few seasons. Its location on the Gogebic Community College campus, close proximity to town, and the shorter course for better spectator visibility are key reasons why this event remains popular each year.
This past week, Mother Nature has brought colder temperatures and snow, but over the next three days, the area is expected to receive significant snowfall. That's why Upper Michigan is the region we've chosen to finish out the season. Lake effect snow is always a major factor in the area and is once again confirming this.
Spectator tickets cost $10 each day, or get a weekend pass for $15!
School is in session next week, so racers, please be aware that there is NO pit parking until Friday at 8:00 am; no exceptions!
Driver check-in is at the Aurora Athletic Club (101 Penokee Rd, Ironwood, MI), from 6 to 8 pm Food and drinks will also be available during check-in.
Race registration closes at 6 pm on Wednesday, March 18, so don’t delay; sign up today!
