Gogebic Community College Ironwood Trilogy Cup Championship Presented by Travel Ironwood update

Spent Sunday morning at Mt Zion checking on conditions and course route, there’s areas with a 4’ base but majority of hill has 2 feet of compacted groomed snow.
Yesterday was their last day of skiing then when weather turns colder Tuesday we will be onsite and work with the staff moving snow, the finish line and bowl turn before finish are the thinnest areas but they have ALOT of snow stockpiled near there and will build a 3 foot base in this section.
Weather will be warm but all the work on the hill will happen when it’s cold then everyone will stay off the hill as much as possible to ensure we have great spring ski hill racing!
Course is 2.1 miles in length
