Cor PowerSports 20/21 season

As you had seen over the last month Cor PowerSports has acquired the USXC race series, this is a process that has been in the works for awhile. Today May 1 we have closed on the acquisition and will be focused on the future of the series.

We would like to thank Brian Nelson for all he has done in the past with USXC and working with us throughout this transition.

For the 20/21 season we will run 8-9 races for the cross country national series, the schedule will have a good balance and we will doing our best to avoid back to back weekends.  We have created an advisory board of racers and crew members to work together as a group to get things set up for next season.

Over the past month we have received questions about the future as change is something that can be scary, be assured we are doing everything possible to keep the transition process as smooth as possible. We have offered positions for the past crew to come onboard with the series for next year, majority of the crew you are familiar with will be back and for those that have decided not to return we wish them the best.

First change everyone will notice is the name; Cor PowerSports started back in 2010 as a ministry outreach from our local church and over the past ten years has grown to be what everyone has come to see now. As we processed this next step it was important that we stay true to our foundation and it is only fitting to keep our branding for the future as the vision for Cor PowerSports was born at the 2009 I-500.

With that we are excited to announce today that the 2021 Cor PowerSports Goodridge-Grygola I-500 date has been set, Feb 13/14, 2021!!

Over the next few months we will be working on a new website, online registration process, and today will open up our 20/21 Cor PowerSports Early Bird season membership registration at:

https://form.jotform.com/201195084801147

The first 50 racers to sign up will not only receive the members only t-shirt but will also receive a Cor PowerSports Beanie.

We know there will be many more questions and we will be working on getting the schedule, rules, etc. posted over the next couple months. The new website will be launched later this summer but in the meantime keep an eye on our social media and current website for updates.

If you have a question that needs a more immediate response feel free to drop me an email at todd@corpowersports.com

We are excited for the future of cross country racing along with our spring ski hill events as they will also be part of our future.

Sincerely,

Todd & Andrea Myers
